Well, it's been a while since I've updated, sorry about that folks - as such it meant that I logged on to see messages from, well, early December, that I'm getting back to two months later. Feel a bit bad about that. But anyway, moving on.

It has been decided that issue 2 of Sparkbright will be released on 1st June 2009, with the deadline for submissions being 1st May 2009. In this issue, we will also be incorporating a new 'short poetry' section (or, I suppose, flash fiction) - 10 lines of poetry or less, 150 words of prose or less.

So, we're taking submissions now (we never really stopped, to be honest), and we hope to hear from you all soon.

This is a terribly belated response, sorry I never got back to you!
If you want to send in a bio now, feel free to do so - be sure to mention that you were in issue 1, we're in the process of gettig bios through for issue 2 at the moment. So yes, feel free to do so, and sorry again for the late reply!

I wish I submitted something but anything I tried to write for this didn't seem to work out.

some of the font in issue one feels cramped and a little hard to read, I like the issue as a whole, works and such, but I couldn't keep my attention on it because it drew me to the spaces between the words and not to the letters.
