It has been decided that issue 2 of Sparkbright will be released on 1st June 2009, with the deadline for submissions being 1st May 2009. In this issue, we will also be incorporating a new 'short poetry' section (or, I suppose, flash fiction) - 10 lines of poetry or less, 150 words of prose or less.
So, we're taking submissions now (we never really stopped, to be honest), and we hope to hear from you all soon.
Emily

If you want to send in a bio now, feel free to do so - be sure to mention that you were in issue 1, we're in the process of gettig bios through for issue 2 at the moment. So yes, feel free to do so, and sorry again for the late reply!
Thanks for the watch, by the way.

I wish I submitted something but anything I tried to write for this didn't seem to work out.

And never mind, take a look at issue 1 that's now out, and maybe we'll get something from you for issue 2...

But yes, I know what you mean, I'm planning to try and fix that in the next issue. Thanks for your feedback, and I hope you take the time to check out issue 2 (due in June).
